The late Sir Kyffin Williams, arguably the best known of Welsh artists, once said that the island of Anglesey left him with "a library of sensations", Anglesey and its people were his inspiration.

The bright light of Anglesey and the ever-changing natural sea and landscapes have attracted a vast number of artists, photographers and creative people to the island.
