Section 8: Moel y Don to Llyn Rhos Ddu

This is the flattest section of the coastal path and in the main keeps to the Menai Strait.
The landscape is attractive, with wooded farmland adjoining the shore, and the mountains and Caernarfon castle providing a backdrop on the other side of the water.

Stepping stones across the river Braint

You end the walk by heading inland to cross the tidal river Braint over a set of large stepping stones.
