South Stack is set in a spectacular location to the north-west of Holyhead. The lighthouse acts as a waymark for coastal traffic and a landmark and orientation light for vessels crossing the Irish Sea to and from the ports of Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire.

The Great Beaumaris Beer and Fine Wines Festival

60 different real ale casks from all over the UK from award-winning ales such as Timothy Taylor Landlord to local greats such as Purple Moose. There'll also be a wide variety of fine wines carefully selected for you to taste and enjoy with a wine expert on hand to give advice on choosing the correct type of wine, tasting wine, Storing wine and deciding on the right kind of glass for your favourite tipple plus some wine workshops. Festival is from 11am to midnight every day. Tickets are £10 for the three days which includes a commemorative tankard and must be purchased in advance from the Canolfan Beaumaris/Beaumaris Leisure Centre. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
